We are located right off HWY 83. Plug our address, 18585 S Sonoita Hwy

Vail, AZ 85641, into your GPS.

Coming from Tucson, take I-10 East. Then, take the exit for HWY 83 South. Drive about 6 miles south on 83 until you come to a left turn onto a dirt road. Charron Vineyards is located 3/4 miles down the dirt road on the right. Just look for the large flag or sign that says "Tasting Room" or "Winery" or "Charron Vineyards"!

Charron Vineyards offers flights of wine any time we are open.

You may choose from ANY of the wines on our menu - including our delicious specialties:  Frozen Wine Slushy or Warm Mulled Wine!

Your server will give you a Tasting Worksheet which you will fill out with your six (1 oz.) selections. We recommend listing your choices from Dry to Sweet. Then, your server will bring out your flight all at once, so that you may enjoy your tasting at your leisure.

Current prices for wine tasting are:

  • $17 with an included Souvenir Crystal Wine Glass
  • $11 if you bring your OWN glass!

Charron Vineyards prides itself on excellent table service. So come on in, have a seat, and we will be happy to serve you.

Since we offer a selection snacks and food, we ask that you do not bring food, meals, snacks, coolers, or other beverages into the winery.  We do make some exceptions for the following:

  • Snacks for toddlers and very small children are acceptable.
  • Gluten-free crackers and snacks for special dietary needs.
  • Cupcakes or birthday cakes are acceptable for special events and parties, but please email the staff ahead of time so that we can reserve a table for your party.
  • Catering for private events.
  • Water bottles are always ok to bring to the vineyard!

We do allow for people to walk through certain parts of our vineyard to check out the grapes and get closer to the wine in their glass.  Please speak with a staff member to get briefed on do's and don'ts in the vineyard, and to let them know where you are.

We don't offer tours right now, but hope to do so soon!

Charron Vineyards is located on a rural road without any commercial hotels or restaurants nearby, but there are a few options for lodging:

  • SUNSET MOUNTAIN CASITA - 1 BR - Pets ok!
  • THE SONORAN ROCKETSHIP - 1 BR
  • THE DESERT GEM - 3 BR (6 guests)

We usually don't answer the phone on Tuesdays as we are working out on the farm or making wine.  If we don't answer on a Wednesday-Monday during business hours, we are likely on the phone with another customer, or helping guests at their table.  Unless our events calendar specifically states we are closed, we are open. You can also check our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for updates. The absolute BEST way to get your question answered is to email info@charronvineyards.com.

We offer private tastings on a case-by-case basis! Please email events@charronvineyards.com for availability & scheduling.

Reservations are not required.  Drop in and say hello!

However, if your group has more than 8 people in it, you are celebrating a special occasion and would like us to know about it, or want to make sure that a table is available, please feel free to email us at info@charronvineyards.com or catch us on our phone at 520-762-8585 during regular business hours. You can also reach us through Facebook or Instagram.

Well-behaved pups are welcome on our Tasting Room patio when on a leash with their owner.  In fact, our staff will bring a bowl of water for your pup to keep him refreshed while you enjoy a glass of wine!  Please be sure to bring a plastic bag in case you need to clean up any messes left behind in the vineyard.

We ask for volunteers to help harvest the grapes every summer! Please click here to learn all about harvest time at Charron Vineyards.

We have a special series called "The Grapevine" that addresses questions we hear frequently around the vineyard. Hopefully, you will see your question featured there!
