CHARRON VINEYARD WINES

Did you help us harvest in August 2021? If you did, your wine is done! Charron Vineyard's signature est wine - Dry White Merlot 2021- is ready and delicious! It is a crisp and light fruit forward wine with a slight aroma of guava and notes of apricot. I can hear you asking, how do you make a white Merlot? Well, to make a red Merlot you macerate the juice of the grapes with the red skins of a Merlot berry. To make a white Merlot, we separate the red skins and ferment just the juice - which creates a beautiful blush color and unique taste. 

Esther's Viognier is a delicious light dry white wine with notes of honeysuckle, apricot, and pairs delightfully well with spicy food - like curries and chilis! This wine is dedicated to all the fun-loving aunts out there and the epitome partying aunt- Sarah's Great Aunt Esther (who passed away at 106 in 2021). No matter her age, Esther was always partying the night away, and when the bar was closing she would call out that it was "only the shank of the evening!" -aka dusk. No matter of the time - she is always up for a good wine, and Viognier was her favorite!  

A dry white wine with sauvignon blanc base has a green apple aroma and hints of grapefruit and white peach. A fantastic wine for sipping while watching the sunset.

Grapes sourced 100% from Charron Vineyards.  A hot dry summer made a fruitier and bolder wine.  Aged in French Oak.   The 2017 Merlot is in very short supply and is currently only available to wine club members.

Our premium red wine blend with hints of black currant and plum is made from 75% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French Oak. This is the official wine of the Arizona Trail, which can be found on the opposite side highway 83 from the Vineyard. $2 from each bottle purchase and $0.50 of each glass purchase is donated to the Arizona Trail Association.

Grapes sourced from Charron Vineyards and Willcox, AZ. A sweet, elegant, and light rose with floral notes and hints of peaches!  Due to pandemic related supplier issues, the team could not source traditional flint (clear) bottles, shrouds, or our logo'd corks.  With harvest around the corner, and space needed in the cellar, the team improvised and used green bottles leftover from the last Merlot bottling run, an assortment of colorful shrouds that the team wrangled up around the cellar, and some borrowed corks.    The Charron Vineyards staff refers to this wine as the "Make it Work" Rose, and it's representative of the tenacious spirit of our team!  Click the link to purchase this wine for your home collection!    

Grapes sourced from Charron Vineyards and Willcox, AZ.  Rincon Red is a delicious fruit forward blend including our own estate grown Merlot. This sweet red wine pairs wonderfully with a range of foods from pizza to chocolate cake and is sure to please any palate.

Grapes sourced from Benson, AZ.  The 2019 Syrah from Rancho Maria Vineyards is aged in French Oak and has a peppery finish that pairs well with spicy and grilled food.  Charron Vineyards is pleased to offer our customers this brilliant wine.
